New York-based jazz duo Allison Miller (drums) and Carmen Staaf (piano) performed at The Royal Room on April 28, 2023.

Staaf and Miller released Nearness in 2022. Their second album together, it features their original compositions plus two covers. This show was the final stop on their west coast CD-release tour.
