2024-04-14 Hardly Raining

Vocal supergroup säje — Sara Gazarek, Amanda Taylor, Johnaye Kendrick, and Erin Bentlage — performed at the Edmonds Center for the Arts on April 14, 2024. The jazz-influenced group is notable for their tight harmonies, skillful arrangements, and catchy original compositions. The band included Dawn Clement (keys), Michael Glynn (bass), and Roberto Giaquinto (drums).

säje recently won a GRAMMY® for their arrangement of “In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning,” off their eponymous first album. (Hardly Raining interviewed the group in 2021, after their first nomination for “Desert Song.”)
