2025-04-10 Hardly Raining
On April 10, 2025, the Harmolodic League took the stage at the Royal Room. The ensemble, led by Dave Bryant (keys), featured other former members of avant-garde musician Ornette Coleman’s Prime Time band, including Jamaaladeen Tacuma (electric bass) and James Kamal Jones (drums). They were accompanied by Neil Leonard (saxophones), King Dahl (acoustic bass), and Jerry Steinhilber (drums).
The group performed Ornette Coleman compositions and several originals, all rooted in the approach of harmolodics. Harmolodic League completes its five-stop Pacific Northwest tour on April 12 at Boxley’s in North Bend.
