Northwest Folklife Festival Returns to Seattle Center

After two years of a virtual-only festival format, the Northwest Folklife Festival returned in person at Seattle Center this Memorial Day Weekend. The theme of the 51st annual event is “Metamorphosis: in with the old, in with the new.”

Across 16 stages, the in-person festival features music, dancing, film, visual art, buskers, and other folk offerings from around the world. Some programs are accessible virtually.

A $20/day donation is suggested, but admission is free. The event continues through Monday, May 30.
