2023-10-04 Hardly Raining
The 35th annual Earshot Jazz Festival begins on Friday, October 6, 2023. The nearly month-long festival will offer live performances across the jazz spectrum. Concerts will take place in venues throughout Seattle, and some will also be live-streamed.

Headliners include Hiromi’s Sonicwonder, The Bad Plus & Marc Ribot’s Ceramic Dog, säje, Sona Jobarteh, Chief Adjuah, and Omara Portuondo. Other unique offerings include a film event, a swing dance, and a high-school jazz band battle. This year’s Resident Artist is Tacoma vocalist and composer Johnaye Kendrick, who will perform three shows.
