Preview: Freakout Festival 2023 Tomorrow

2023-11-01 Hardly Raining

Seattle’s beloved Freakout Festival XI returns to Ballard November 2-5, 2023. The four-day event emphasizes live psychedelic music and DJ sets. Mad Alchemy Analog Liquid Light Show will again provide trippy live projections.

This year’s headliners include Allah Las, The Gories, The Spits, Son Rompe Pera, Sextile, and Jonathan Bree. Many Seattle acts will perform as well, including Acid Tongue, Biblioteka, BOOTS! DJ Night, Diminished Men, King Youngblood, Linda From Work, Mold Mom, and Monsterwatch.

As a major change this year, Freakout Records recently announced its transition to a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. In a press release this spring, co-founders Guy Keltner and Skyler Locatelli explained that the change will facilitate better financial sustainability and foster stronger community collaborations.

Find tickets, daily schedules, and other information at the festival web site. See Hardly Raining‘s photos from the 2021 and 2022 festivals. Check out the official artist playlist below.
