Portland rockers Sun Atoms headlined the fourth and final day of Seattle’s Seagaze Festival on April 6, 2024. Held at the Tractor Tavern across two weekends, Seagaze celebrated the Pacific Northwest shoegaze, post-punk, and psychedelic-rock genres. The festival began in 2016.
Sun Atoms have performed in Seattle several times, most recently at the 2023 Freakout Festival. They released Let There Be Light in 2021, and just finished a video for their single, “Ceiling Tiles.”
Opening were Portland spaghetti-western band Federale, Seattle dreamy post-punk band Fotoform, Portland goth-electronic group Darkswoon, and Seattle “wavegaze” trio Waves Crashing.
