2026-06-18 Hardly Raining
The Miles Electric Band (MEB) performed on June 18, 2026, in a centennial celebration of legendary jazz trumpeter Miles Davis. Earshot Jazz presented the show at Seattle’s Town Hall.
MEB is a project of Davis’ nephew, award-winning drummer Vince Wilburn Jr. He organized the group to both showcase former Davis collaborators and introduce audiences to newer jazz talent. Personnel included Darryl Jones (bass), Jean-Paul Bourelly (guitar), Robert Irving III (keys), Munyungo Jackson (percussion), Greg Spero (keys), Rasaki Aladokun (percussion), Antoine Roney (saxophone), Keyon Harrold (trumpet), and DJ Logic/Jason Kibler (turntables).
