As part of the five-week 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, Seattle hosted the “Round of 16” match between the USA and Belgium. The game prompted fan marches to Seattle Stadium (AKA Lumen Field) and watch parties across the city. Belgium defeated the USA 4-1, so will advance to the quarter-finals against Spain on Friday.
