On the heels of Centrum Jazz Port Townsend, the Jeff Hamilton Trio sold out two nights at Boxley’s in North Bend.
Renowned jazz drummer Hamilton led the group, which included Tamir Hendelman (piano) and Jon Hamar (bass). In 2021, the trio released a Christmas album together, entitled Merry and Bright.
Hamilton closed the evening by inviting up two local students from his Port Townsend combo to sit in on bass and piano.
